Veronica Combs

Veronica Combs (Roni) is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (AR# 3589-C). She earned her Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Administrative/Clinical Mental Health from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has worked in a variety of settings from an inpatient acute treatment center to community mental health. Roni has been providing quality mental health services in this community since 2009. Roni is a Co-Founder of Counseling & Family Therapy Center and has been seeing clients there in private practice since early 2020. Roni also volunteers her time as a coach for the Harrison Composite Buffalo Riders with Arkansas NICA.

Roni works primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, personal crisis, and any type of traumatic stress- from early attachment trauma to recent overwhelming events. Roni has training in various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused therapy. Offering hour-long therapy sessions at the clinic in Harrison. Roni is also known for empowering women and helping women unlock their true power while healing from their traumas through strength and resilience.

Roni lives in Harrison, Arkansas, with her husband of 16 years, Kris Anderson, their 2 sons, Christian and Mads, and their dog, Bruno. Her interests outside of family and therapy include biking, baking, reading, and traveling. She has worked as a therapist, case manager, and in retail.
