Roni & Kris met in 2004 when they were both in the undergraduate Social Work program at The University of Arkansas Little Rock. One thing led to another, and they started a family. They each had different visions for their individual careers. Roni focused on outpatient individual therapy and being in administration for a community mental health center, while Kris focused on rehabilitative day treatment, group therapy, and being in administration for a community mental health center. Roni and Kris always shared a singular vision of a therapy clinic that would allow therapists the freedom to grow as individuals and clinicians in an environment that created space for this growth and encouraged it in every way possible. Their idea became a reality when Counseling & Family Therapy Center LLC opened its doors on June 2, 2020, in beautiful, historic downtown Harrison, AR.
